As instructed I searched first and found nothing. Is there a factory XM unit that works with the Audi systems?

 

as far as i know all audis come with sirius installed youi can a XM unit and have it installed in your car, there is nutin special jsut wires and radio inputs

 

Is there something that attaches to the six disc plug?

I have a B6 with SymphonyBose, but have not idea about how or where to plug. Does anyone have pics from behind the radio and the XM Unit. I am hoping to not have a separate display. You know run it all from the factory head unit. I have tons of after market experience, but none with Audi (as I am still a newbie). P.S. when are you no longer a newbie?

 

Which do you alllike better, sirius or xm???

 

I haven't heard sirius, but I am a Jimmy Buffett fan so it's tempting. I have had XM for about 10 years. I think it comes down to what programming you like and are used to. Does sirius have more options like video, I heard XM was going to have video sometime. I also heard there was a unit at Myer Emco that plugs straight into the head and reads through the head like the factory one. I heard that from the Alexandria Audi parts guy.
