From what I've seen around here people generally do not advise buying headlights off ebay due to the takiness of angel eyes and the low quality but I can't justify spending over 600 for valeo ecodes for a 97 a4 on a student budget. I saw these lights on ebay and they look pretty good so I figured if I maybe buy some silicon and try to seal them some more myself they'd be fine?

first of all if you're going to get ebay at least get one pieces.

second of all I would keep the ones you have now use some plastic conditioner to help get the lenses clear and continue to save for e-codes or check the classifieds on here and the zine. I just sold my stockies that were clear cornered for $200.

 

whats better about 1 piece? Wouldn't it make more sense to not have to modify the area around them?

 

Nothing is really 'better' about the one piece headlights other than the cleaner look to them.

Ibought those and installed them about a week ago. I, like you, couldnt afford the ecodes on my poor little student budget. So far i have really enjoyed them. They look much nicer then the stock headlights and make it easier to see the road at night. Andsilicon is a very good idea. So, my advice, get them. They look like they could be the same ones asIordered except in black soI dont think you'll be disapointed.

those will be fine, there are quite a few people on various sites running them they are "depo ecodes"

do a search for them and you can get better reviews and idea of weather to buy them
