Default A5 2.0t steering issue

I have an annoying issue with my Audi A5 2.0t sport suspension with adjustable ( Dynamic/ Comfort) steering settings. First off I cant honestly discern much if any difference in the 2 settings. The real issue is in normal freeway driving. In changing lanes I apply a given force to move the wheel to initiate the turn and a moment later the force needed becomes MUCH lighter and the car wants to over steer resulting in a correction that results in a similar action. Today I drove a dealer loner A7 and found the steering is completely linear and predictable. The dealer has replaced the steering rack and done a complete alignment. However I have not had time yet to evaluate it fairly. Is anyone out there experiencing anything similar to what I have described?? Would really appreciate any feed back. Thanks
