2010 A5, 2,500 miles, driver's window screeches and bangs going up or down.

 

got the same problem. 59 plate 16,000miles. Loud screech as the driver window goes up

 

Took mine to dealer but they expressed more concern for getting paid if they were to do anything. Therefore, they did nothing and sent me on my way. That was after traveling 60 miles round trip to the dealer... I will contact Audi and discuss my disappointment.

 

My passenger window was making a minor clicking sound every now and then so I took it back to the dealer. They replaced the regulator under warranty. Window operation is now silent. It had 9K miles on it. Dealer should be working for you under warranty. AoA would like to know when the dealers aren't supporting the product.

 

Just had my 10,000 mile service and Cardiff Audi had no problem sorting mine. From what they told me it just needed some lubricant. But working fine again now.

 

My window seat since moisture is getting in there and freezing up the windows. The doors open but the windows freeze up creating a problem with the doors being closed
