After taking my 2001 A6 2.7T through the car wash, the driver's window would barely go up at all. I had to help it up in order to get the window closed. Now that it is dry it works much better. It is still however slower than all the other windows. Anyone have any experience with this?

 

I have dealt with this problem in my wifes a6 the problem was the window regulator works with a small cable, the cable had jumped out of the mounting slot and was causing the window to go up crooked.you can see the cable with a mirror when you remove the door panel. also the plastic clips that hold the window to the regulator can also be broken. hope this helps
