Am I getting a good deal on my S5?
Hey all,, i'm about to pull the trigger on the S5, am I getting a good deal? The MSRP on the 2010 S5 I want is $61,125.00. The out the door European delivery price, including all MD taxes (6%), title fees, etc, is 62k even. Great, good, or bad deal? Any insight would be most appreciated.

Not a bad price for an S5. The Germans here would pay around 55-65,000.00 Euros for the same car you are getting.
*(65,000.00 Euros divided by $.065 = $92,000.00 so yes, that seems like a decent deal)
I purchased my 2007 A4 (new) and paid $28,800 (discounts, rebates etc) a German would have paid Euro 40,000.00 for the exact same spec's as my A4 or $61,000!
Anyway, have you checked online and other dealers to see what their going rates are? That would be the best way to compare prices. I went on our military car site (see link) and did a quick build for a 2010 S5 loaded it up and came out with $59,000.00. Keep in mind though the cars sold here are tax free. So I think your deal is pretty good.
