Audi misfire after 3000 rpms
I have an Audi a5 2010 2.0l w/ 134,000 miles
I’ve had many many problems with misfires over the year i’ve owned the vehicle. I’ve done many many repairs trying to fix the misfire.
I have replace spark plugs, coils, and fuel injectors. after recently replacing the fuel injectors the misfire seemed to get better but recently it’s gotten way worse. It almost never goes over 3000 rpms and when i try to push it over 3000 rpms it stutters and misfires and the engine light will start flashing. if i try to push it to much then the epc light will turn on and it misfires constantly until i turn the engine off and back on again.
I cleaned out the carbon buildup using CRC in the air intake and it seemed to start running better and every now and then will go above 3000 rpms to around 4000-4500 without misfiring but only in low gears.
Im really frustrated with the whole situation and just want to get the misfire fixed so that i can drive my car without having to slowly give it gas so that it won’t misfire.
If anyone has any solutions or any thoughts about what the issue could be please lmk!
