Multiple Misfire Detected
This is the problem
P0308 Cylinder 8 Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0300B Random- Multiple Misfire Detected
I have swapped Spark plugs, coils, and injectors and the codes returned. anybody?

RE: Multiple Misfire Detected
Run a fuel system cleaner through the injectors, or pour a full can of seafoam in the gas tank and see if it still does it. Injectors sometimes get a little clogged depending on what fuel and additives are in the fuel.

I ran the engine on nothing but injection cleaner with a OTC tool, trust me there is no more carbon in this engine, and then as above I swapped injectors with no luck. Let me give more details on this problem.
The customer said that the check engine light has been on since he bought the car (a year I would say) then one day it started to misfire under load, and the only reason I have the car is it developed an engine oil leak at the pressure switch. so
I replaced the oil pressure switch and went to work on the check engine light, I had several random codes until I got a code that I was able to fix, which was the engineRPM sensor, the sensor wire melted to the exhaust pipe, I replaced the sensor which did help but still have the misfire codes which get so bad that the computer turns off # 8 cylinder injector.

Now if I unplug the camshaft sensor the car runs fine with no mis detected, I assume that once you unplug the cam sensor it disables the misfire monitor. Replaced that sensor did not fix.
I have checked all the grounds, and wires I can get to, I don't belive the engine is really misfiring.

RE: Multiple Misfire Detected
Sounds like a programming issue, we have had problems with cars throwing miss-fire faults before that really aren't miss-firing. Take it to audi and see if there are any open re-flashes available.

RE: Multiple Misfire Detected
I read allot of posts on different problems and when you get to the end allot of times you never know what fixed it, well not in this case. The car is now fixed I removed the engine computer, looked inside for any obvious problems, nonefound, so I put it back together and thought I wonder if just removing power from the computer might make everything right, you know the same way it doesfor your desk top when it screws up. Yes that fixed the problem. Ernst

RE: Multiple Misfire Detected
data says MAPor MAF sensor but there are two types of faults like this
1- misfire at idle only,
2- misfire at constant speed.
1- possible faults are air intake/vacuum system leaks, ECT sensor, air filter, MAF, MAP, electrical connections - engine/battery, ECM connections loose, injectors, ECM.
2- MAF or MAP
