A known weakness with the Audi B8 A5 2.0T engine, the factory diverter valve diaphragm has a tendency to wear and crack under stock boost pressure levels.

The rubber material chosen for the diaphragm cannot withstand consistent boost diversion, and certainly will not contain the added boost levels that accompanies performance modifications.
