Default Newbie oil choice question

New 2019 A5 Sportback 2.0 owner. I’ve been searching high and low and can’t seem to find a definitive answer for the right oil to use.
I read 5w40, 5w30, not Mobil 1, etc. I’m not familiar with the VW 50x codes (I’ve blundered through a few references).
Can someone please give me 3-4 correct oil choices for this engine? If it matters, I’m in Florida, daily city driver. Thanks in advance.

you need VW 502.00

Mobil 1 0w-40 European Car formula, available at Walmart is perfectly fine. I've used it on my 2013 A5 since the 1st oil change. I have over 77K miles and never burnt one drop of oil. if you want to go fancy: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/5w4...i-moly-lm20232

My advice if you want to keep the car long after the warranty runs out: change the oil more often than what the computer says, especially if you do lots of short or stop-n-go driving in the city. Instead of 1 year or 10K miles, change it every 9 months or 8k miles. Also, make sure you change the transmission fluid/transfer case/differential at 50k miles or so, unless it's a S-tronic, which is 30k miles.

Thanks Findalex.
I'm a psycho frequent oil changer, which is why I posted this. My car has 300 miles, but I'm getting prepped..

If you like to change out the oil frequently, I recommend a topside fluid extractor. Just suck it right out of the dip stick. Zero mess.

I do 2 liter changes every few months, and filter at 8K. Oil always come out darker than I like, so it's good to replenish with fresh new oil often.
