Is $25,999 for 01 A6 2.7T too much?
Not sure if you got this already or not, but it seems kinda high to me. I just picked up my '01 A6/2.7T/Sport with 44K miles for $20K...that's out the door with TTL and certified. I also got it at the Audi dealer. I also had one more from a use car dealer for a couple hundred bucks more...although the warranty would have been from a third party company.
Hope you can still negotiate lower...

it depends where you live. In chicago where i live, an 01 with 35,000 miles would cost me 17.9, its got the nav system to. go to kbb.com and type in all the info there to see what it says
Got my 00 A6 2.7T Quattro for $17K (CND). TipTronic, every option except Sport, Nav and Hot Weather Package. Mine was cheaper cause it had 150K on it. But, all highway mostly put on in first 2 yrs. Timing belt redone at 100K.
Been good car so far.

Well.... after much searching and pondering the good ol' 98 A4Q is going buh bye..... Being replaced with a 2002 A6 4.2 (wide body) with 68 k miles, xenon, Nav, Cold Weather package, but not the sport package...... Got it for $18,800. Patience does pay.... been looking for a while.. Wholesale book on the car is $24. It was an Audi Financial lease return. Now it will be time to make it mine... Wheels, tint, audio, etc!!!
Agreed... It does depend on where you live... prices are expecially high in California... mostly because of CA emissions requirements (requires modifications by Audi)... But the good news is Audi has a 7 year 70k mile warrenty on almost all parts related to emissions when you live in California, separate from the factory warrenty, regardless of past owners.
DUDE !!!!!!!
NUMBER ONE: KELLEY BLUE BOOK PRICES ARE WAY TOO HIGH TO BE REASONABLE
NUMBER TWO: I got my 2001 2.7T (albeit w/o cold weather pkg, Audi Cert and with 61kmi on the odo) for 15,500 out the door !!! don't pay more than $18k for an '01 with taxes and plates included! think about the depreciation !!! 29 grand, I'll get you an '03 with like 25-30k miles AND make a thousand !!!
NUMBER THREE: If you need price reference, go to a barnes and noble and buy a yellow NADE book, the loan value of the car listed there is what dealers usually pay for used cars give or take 2-3 grand depending on color. condition and mileage.
