Replacing the valve body requires pan open and new fluid - what was it, what quantity, how the level was adjusted?
Do you have a way to pull the DTC?
Limp mode is 3 rd geaar only - is this your case?
Do you have a reverse?

Do you call $80hr at Audi compared to $79hr at Joe's garage a waste of money?
You payed someone $2900 to rebuild your trannie and it's not fixed, did you have Audi do a diagnostic on the transmission *before you took it to a non-Audi shop? I'd say your priorities are way off since you think factory trained Audi experts are a waste of money especially when you have real issues which you obviously have. You may not of even needed a rebuild.

tranny need a rebuilt had wear on some gears. don't know Wat there called but i opened the tranny to inspect before i toke it to the shop. cuz i wanted to have a warranty sins the rebuild kit is like $750. plus the the gears. And Prestige Audi charge $135 an hour. if the dealer charge $80 then it wood have went there first. the man seas minimum 3 hours to diagnose it. but looks like it going to end up there any way. thought the Audi forum cod lead me in the right direction.

I understand your frustration...sorry. Where do you live and maybe the forum can offer some alternatives close to your home. Also, the person who did your rebuild has some serious responsibility that the job be completed correctly.

When my car needs work I take it to a place called elder auto. I highly recommend to anyone. There is also a audi trained specialist who owns a small independant in south denver, I'm trying to remember his name. If its something electrical or with the ECU take it to him and he will help you out.
