If I has a dollar for every time somebody asked...
Lots of information on this all over the forum - it's complicated, with the immobilizer, different kinds of fobs, needing the cluster PIN number, getting keys cut, etc.
Start here:

Search and educate yourself, or just pay the dealer...

I went to the stealership and they hit me over the head for 300 for a replacement key. They then had the nerve to ask why i haven't had any service work done with them. I said if it's gonna cost me 300 for a key, I wouldn't want to know how much you gonna charge for real work like changing oil, or aligning my tires. I'd prefer to go to my mechanic who so far seems to be doing everything I need with no problems. Got my TB change done from him for 900; the stealership wanted 2100.
