Help!

I searched for a problem similar to this and didn't find any so I am starting a new thread.

My windows and S-roof stopped working about a month ago. I had a certified Audi tech who said it was the Master Window unit in the drivers door so I got a new one and Voila... no help. Still the windows/s-roof won't work and the dash image of the car shows three doors open all but drivers. Checked fuses... could it be a relay? I really don't to give it to the shop for an "exploritory" mission... $$$!!!

Other symptoms: The locks work but it won't report (beep) on locking with the remote.

Any clues? I am clueless...

 

Someone actually posted something here about it or on the A4 forum. It was something along the lines of spraying the cables with a radioshack can of conductor spray (I'm completely wrong) and that might help. Ill see if I can find it.
