Default Is the 02' v6 rear bumper different from a v8?

Wanted to know if there is a difference in size from an 02' v6 to an 02' v8 rear bumper? Are there any fitting problems when placed on an 01 c5? I need to replace my rear bumper because I want those valance cut outs when I upgrade my 01' exhaust system and there is an 02' bumper from a v8 available at my local salvage yard with the same factory color. So there is no need to sand and repaint!

The V8 bumper has a different shape where it meets the wider fender flares. it will not fit your narrow-body A6

Thanks for the response Boston. I guess I have to purchase a v6 rear bumper then. Sucks, that means extra money for the paint job.

You don't have to buy a new bumper, you could just have the valence cut for the exposed exhaust tips. That is what I had done for my 2001 A6 2.7T. Best thing about it was that it did not require purchase of any parts!

Here is a picture of the stock bumper with custom cutouts for exposed tips (lined with simple door edge molding):

A closer look (mine is the one in the distance, but we had the same work done here):
