just bought this 2003 audi A6 quattro. 3.0L
it is showing in orange a picture of a oil can and the word "sensor" next to it on the dash. also the oil temp gauge works in the mornin when first started up till it hits the first little marking then that oil sensor illuminates and the temp goes down to nothing.
is it a bad oil temp/ pressure sensor.
any help would be appreciated.

Its impossible to know if the sensor is bad unless you test it.
but they are known to go bad, mine did.
Its an easy repair.
