So my sensor is going bad and I bought a new one but I havnt found any DIY's on it. It's not the temp sensor behind the engine in front of the firewall. That's the temp switch. So where is the coolant temp sensor and how do I change it??

coolant temp sensor is in the coolant flange at the back of the engine near the firewall. They may be called the same thing post a pic of what your trying to change. if its a green or blue connector is the temp sensor.
