04 A6 electrical? Heater/ Shifter/ defrost?
Hi..
So my a6 went wierd on me. I was driving and i had the Yellow Oil can Sensor light come on. I drove to the side of the road and once i placed my car in park, the shifter would not realese from Park. The pedal light isnt even lit and now my climate control wont turn on, seat heaters and rear defrost are also all stuck off. I also noticed that my oil temp is bottomed out...
Any ideas? i checked the fuses and they seem all good. seems like all the issues are realated. Would a bad oil level/temp sensor disabled all the others?
Do they share a power? Could somone post a electrical diagram? Normally id have no problem with this except i am on vacation and would like to get some heat in the car. I was able to bypass the shifter lock by unplugging it...
Thanks for any help.

I traced it back to the number 5 fuse. Its listed as KI. 15 (Control Unit). I replaced the fuse with a 15 amp fuse and it still blew after working for a bit. It seems to control everything. The shifter interlock that makes u step on the brake befor it will let yoyu shift out of park/neutral, Oil temp, Climate controll.
ANy one know what this fuse powers? What is the KI. 15?
If someone can be a life saver and post a electrical diagram of theis curcuit- I could diagnose this further.
Stuck in St. Paul with a car that wants to blow the fuse in all this snow...
