Hey guys somewhat of a newb here but I did do my research before posting this question. I bought a 2005.5 A6 for my Wife to drive it has about 100k on it and when we got it the left brake and turn signal were out, the led part. it would very occasionally say that the right one was out too. Well I replaced the left tail light assembly. Now about a week to 10 days later the right side has said right brake/signal out but it doesn't say it all the time, for example yesterday nothing....today 4 or 5 times after starting the car I got the loud beep and same dang brake/signal out on right side, well tonight we went fro a drive and nothing...everything worked great! What should I do? I need help I don't really want to have to buy another assembly! HELP!

Buy An entire assembly

 

I have the same problem too. But for me, i actually already replaced my assembly, but once in awhile the same side of my tail lights does that too. I think there's a malfunction somewhere. As this only happens once in awhile. I'm planning to bring it back to the dealer too. Gona force them to figure it out. As i already paid for a new assembly. Will update if they can fix it and how they fixed it.

This is a common problem on our audi's. Some say replace the whole tail light, some say check the wiring. It's really a guessing game.
