I believe my battery has gone bad on my 05 a6 3.2. It slowly drains while it sits overnight, but it charges fine while driving. Any tips or info i should be aware of if i buy a replacement battery and change it myself? Thank you.

 

make sure you have your radio code. battery replacement is pretty straight forward. takes a little wiggling to get it out of there and unless you are kind of tall its can be a little awkward to move that weight up and out but you should have no problems

if your battery is draining overnight you might have something electrical drawing too much current when your car is off. a new battery might not solve your problem. most of the auto parts stores will test your battery for free.
