My 07 A6 currently has a P0016 code Bank 1: Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incorrect Correlation. I know there are many posts on this, but is it fair to say the solution seems to be all over the map? Most of them being cam shaft sensor. I read of one that it was the Intake Valve Solenoid.

The car is at the shop now and below are the codes. I'm trying not to panic. Although a timing issue, I'm assuming it isn't a guide or tensioner because I haven't been hearing any rattling or odd noises at start up.

With the rough idle there are misfires on 1, 5 , 4. Are the locations of these misfires important to my code? These are actually the first 3 cylinders in order that the car fires the engine. Does this mean anything? Does it mean anything the cylinders are on opposite sides?
