Default 1995 Audi A6 RHD - Location of PWCM (Power Window Control Module) ?

Hi All,

THis is my first post here so "Hi!" to everyone and hoping for some kind assistance.

Where is the PWCM located? The windows are intermittent and I have checked OK all relevant fuses. Checking voltage at the Window Lockout Switch' on the driver's door on the Red/Blue wire (power from the PWCM) there is only about 1-2 Volts when I would expect 12V (being distributed to all the window switches).

I am working from the 53-page System Wiring Diagrams downloaded from http://www.ziomal.itl.pl/motoryzacja...6_schematy.pdf

I cannot find the PWCM in either of the panels by the LH and RH footwells or under the fascia (adjacent to the steering wheel) or main fusebox under the bonnet. Nor under the rear seat by the battery. Anywhere else to look?

Many thanks.

Arthur

I don't know if our models match the European production (I would assume you're in UK since you mentioned "bonnet" - I apologize if I'm wrong), but the PW Closing Relay:
Controls automatic closing of windows in conjunction with the power window/sunroof control module -J139- when door lock cylinder switches are activated
The location of both relays (J139 and J261) is as you can see in the illustration:
