1996 a6 2.8 quattro engine temp guage
I have a 1996 a6 2.8 Quattro.
My engine temp gauage reads slightly over the middle area.
THat doesn't seem right to me. I believe the gauage is working properly.
What are the things I should look into? Is head gasket be one of the possibilities?

no oil in water and vice versa. I just had the coolant changed. I only had one bottle of g12, so I had to use cooldex? it's SHELL brand, I forgot the name. DEX COOL?
anyways.. the needle is on the same spot, just slighly past the middle thick line. NO heat in the cabin. THe fans are working. BUt it seems like it's always working loudly.. is that normal?
