Hiya,
I'm putting little lights in external door handles so when you unlock the car the handles will light up just like interior of car does,
prob is trying to get handles out.
I've taken card off disconnected bar that goes into handle
slid plate on back of handle so now whole unit is loose.
what seems prob is one side of handle where bar connects that opens door, it looks to be stopping me from taking handle out altoghether. is there a knack to get it out or is there something i'm not seeing.
it's a pain coz all doors are now wired and ready to go, just friggin door handles stopping me coz i need to drill small hole into it

 

SORTED, theres a brassy coloured pin u gott put then it falls apart, done 1 door handle now and looks wicked when u use remote, it now lights up. i got red lights to light up inside door handle so why not the outside, if any 1 else wanna have a go gimme shout to tell you where and what wires u need in loom, p.s unfortunatly u gotta put 2 wires into each door but done all 4 doors quicker than it took me to find the right circuit to wire it into. wheni do other handle on same side tomorrow i'll take a pic and post so u lot can gloat
