I need to replace the little flap door that covers the triangle on the rear hatch of the 1999 A6 Avant wagon. I've Googled, check the owners manual and looked at the now broekn piece. I can't get the name it's called nor the part number (not even on the broken piece).

Does anyone know the part number or the name of the door where the plastic lock breaks every year?

I call the @#$@ door
try spokan used audi parts, they will have one
remove the triangles and give em to the neighbors dog
then get double sided sticky 3m tape and tape it on there so it doesn't swing open when you slam the gate down.

 

I couldn't think of a better name for that flap door. Thanks for the advice (minus feeding the triangles to the neighbors dog). I'll give Spokane a shot.
