Look at the 6th post down.

If you need help refer to this

But ignore the pics since it is different vac. lines than yours. I would not recomend putting seafoam through our Crankcase tho. Only engine and fuel tank.

and I just pour it in? The second link you gave me was the same.
Should I poor it in slowly? Does it suck? If so should I put it in a water bottle and let it suck slowly?
what about hydrolocking?

Thats the correct guide. Yes you will let it suck, You should cut up a half water bottle and attatch a hose to the Vac line to make it easier.

The chances of hydrolocking are slim, this will only happen if you let the car suck up too much at one time, in which for the most part the car would simply misfire etc. and just turn off not esseitaly hydrolock.

I did this myself on my car, I attached a rahter long hose from the engine to my lap and held the revs to 2K and let the car suck the seafoam, but not letting it suck up to much at once.

Hey Asian

What I did when I got my 98 Jetta is give the car a good service. New plugs, belts filters oil etc. This way I figured I knew what was done and when. You might find that clears up the problem. For cleaning the MAF (that someone suggested) get CRC MAF cleaner http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Misc/CR...aner_05110.PDF Many places sell it, I bought mine at http://www.Autobarn.com

Here's a "few" more places listed here for parts and stuff http://www.VAGLinks.com

Cheers
Massboykie
