Default 2 1/4 vs 2 1/2 exhaust

I have K04's, full stage 3+. Want to keep it a sleeper, so I am about to do my exhaust. I have piggies and no main cats. Between 2 1/4" and 2 1/2", what would realistically be the power difference? If 10hp or les, I would stick with 2 1/4" to keep as quiet as can be. If more than 10hp I would consider bigger. Assuming all other variables the same, same style and length Magnaflows. What would the difference be power wise?

Thanks guys,,,[/align]

The mufflers you choose will be more important than which of the two sizes you choose.

Sound over performance with this product. I went with the sleeper apr's, sound great in high RPMS.....Pricey but nice.

Decided on 2.5" and just doing as large mufflers as possible. Ordered mufflers the other day. Once I have installed I will post on this thread the results of sound, volume & performance..
