Default 2.7t acceleration query (surging?)

Jiminy Christmas, am I late in asking this one!

I've had my car for awhile now and have enjoyed Its twisty mountain road passing ability to my great delight.

However, I have noticed that in first and maybe second, when accelerating rapidly, there is a soft surge type situation.

This is not a harsh mechanical-slip type thing.

Nor is it a power-totally-cutting-out type either.

Simply a non-linear power delivery.

Now I am aware that that last statement sounded like a ( duh its a turbo, non-linear is its thing) reply would be in order, But this is choppier than that and throughout the rev range.

Anyfrickenway, IS THIS NORMAL or WHAT?

Sage

Maybe a boost leak. I would check your hoses and the Thorttle Body Boot (which tends to rip on 2.7Ts) If it is the boot, you can get one from www.ecstuning.com
