hey whats up i was just wandering how i can make my 2.7t faster the bad thing is its auto. i know i can get a chip that will make me gain at the most 80hp. i also heard that 320hp is about the max an auto tran. can handel but i dont know how true that is or what i can do so it can handel more power. is there any other way to gain hp on top of the chip ,i know the basic stuff like exhust, intake.......? thanks for your help

 

A upgraded N75 valve which controls the ecm signals to the wastegate, you can probably pick up another 10-15 hp for about $80.

 

getting an intake on this car ise wasted money. its been discussed a bunch of times on the forums. just get a K&N in there and leave it be. Chips will be the best bang for the buck. You can upgrade your intercoolers to RS4 ones. Stay away from a FMIC, its more efficent for our cars to run twin sidemounts. Get hardpipes and good diverter valves(not blow off valves). Get a full turbo back exhaust and if you can manifolds. You can also swap out for the twin K04 turbos or the RS6 turbos. Upgrading some engine components to RS4 ones will give you a lot more power. You can keep yours and get a full port and polish. I wouldnt push past 350 on the stock tranny and axles.

 

It doesn't work on the 2.7. The ECU adapts & you end up with more turbo lag.


You can do just about anything you want to a TIP, it's a solid trans.

First thing, TBB & DV's, then chip it, piggies, then full exhaust, you will be happy with the power.
