so i recently picked up a 96 A6 for next to nothing. straight body, clean title and relatively low miles. i already have 2 other cars on the chopping block as far as my projects go, one being a first gen mx6 thats boosted and a saab 900se turbo. the audi is REALLY clean, though. is there anything i can do w/ a non-turbo, non-quattro A6? i mean ANYTHING. i cant find anything for this car. is it safe to boost it? what newer audi wheels will fit it? any good spring kit/coilover info? where can i get more info on this?

Hmmm worth a crap for mods... not so much. I have found some bumper accessories, filters, and exhaust. The 2.8 is not exactly a sporty sort of thing. I think Eibach makes a spring kit for it. Was the 96 a 12V or a 30V? I find the 30V to be pretty powerful. Anyway, I know there is a list of all the 2.8 mods that some guy did so you can look for that.

nothing to really give it some more pep w/o spending $$$$$$$$$

i have it in my a6 wag. it will run for MANY miles if reg maint done.
i guess that may be the tradeoff
