Default 2000 2.8 a6 asr
I know this has probably been asked before but how do you turn off the ASR. I have pressed the switch but nothing happened. I have also held it and nothing.

the asr light should be off when the car starts. if its not there a fault in your car. you should scan it codes.

if you are just looking to disable the asr why not pull the asr fuse.

My 1999 doesn't have a switch to turn it off. Would I just have to pull the fuse to do so?

Mine has a button not a switch. I don't want to disable it just turn it off for short periods of time.
