hi people, i just wanted to know if somebody could let me know if i'm being ripped off. i live in san diego california and i know prices are not the same as a city in wyoming. my power steering doesnt work, so i'm being charged 880 for the steering rack, 90 hr for 5 hrs (450), and 70 for alignment. totalling to about 1,400.00. does anyone have experiance with this job? if so, could somebody tell me if this is a fair price?

at a shop that's about right, If you could do it yourself you can look up your parts at ecstuning.com or blaupart.com I think they run about 5-600. They are hitting you about for about 300 on the parts. But that's how it goes.
