I have a 2000 audi a6 and doesn't want to start. Turns over but doesn't start. Had the same problem last winter. Suggestions?

 

Can you give a more detailed description of the problem? When you noticed it, what happens, what you have already done to try and fix it, etc....

 

Fail or failing crank position sensor, coolant temp sensor, dead fuel pump, bad fuel pump relay, no spark... All could be possibilities that would cause your car not to start.

Do you have a check engine light on?

Also is your 2.8 V6 a 12 valve or a 30 valve?

the 00 is a 30v.

Second the crank position sensor and all suggested parts above. BUT to be 100% you (OP) need to scan the car for codes. without a code you will be replacing parts with a blindfold hoping your car will see the light.

also keep in mind a MIL is not required for a code to be present.

 

I concur. By far, the best investment I made was purchasing a vagcom so I can scan codes, and do the testing before I spent time (and MONEY) replacing parts.
