Fail or failing crank position sensor, coolant temp sensor, dead fuel pump, bad fuel pump relay, no spark... All could be possibilities that would cause your car not to start.
Do you have a check engine light on?
Also is your 2.8 V6 a 12 valve or a 30 valve?

Second the crank position sensor and all suggested parts above. BUT to be 100% you (OP) need to scan the car for codes. without a code you will be replacing parts with a blindfold hoping your car will see the light.
also keep in mind a MIL is not required for a code to be present.
