Please Help! Can't seem to keep the codes away long enough to get the car smogged. It seems like there are new ones every few days! The most recent ones are: 0346 Cam Position Sensor, and 1522 Idle Speed Control. The car seems to run fine, but I sure am tired of the near constant CEL.

Any ideas out there short of taking it in (again)? I'm about ready give up on this car altogether.

 

Hmm if it runs normally you may just want to replace the CPS
camshaft timing issues are usually associated with misfires or rough idle or something of that nature, in addition this code is probably triggering the idle speed.

Thats probably your first, least expensive step, i believe these sensors are located at the bottom rear side of the heads closest to the firewall.
