Default Need Help With 15 Fault Codes-2001 A4 2.8 Quattro

I bought this car last year and put a lot of time and a bit of money into it. I replaced the pcv system, changed the valve cover gaskets,plugs/wires, cleaned the throttle body, because it seemed to idle kind of low. This morning I registered the car because I had gone as far as I could without getting some miles on the car to find any additional problems. Started out this morning, car still was idling a bit low but running pretty well. Put about 50 miles on the car before I started heading to my girlfriends house, during this 10 mile trip I got a CEL and the car died twice while on the clutch to slow for traffic lights. I got to her house and parked it for a few hours. Upon start up the car seemed to be misfiring a bit, and it feels like the throttle is really rough, nothing smooth about it. I got to the end of her block and just drove it back up the hill and left it in the driveway. I pulled 15 codes and really don't even know where to start on this one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Update, cleared the codes and did a manual TBA. Car started ran for 2 seconds at 2k rpm and died. Checked the code right after and got two codes one for disconnection the battery and a code for the downstream o2 sensor. So I ordered two downstream o2 sensors. Going to replace those and go from there. It strikes me as weird that most of those codes are for items ran off that main engine wiring harness. Might look into how its grounded. Also going to replace my fuel filter while I'm at it.

That's quite a list, I can't hardly imagine that much stuff going bad like that. It almost seems like your ecu may be faulty. While you replace the 02's i would also clean your battery connections (especially the ground) and maf. I would drive some more and see if more of the codes pop back up

Default Multiple codes

Hmm... sounds like a lot but they seems like it's a cause by a chain reaction on the top. Make sure you don't have any air leaks. Maybe a connection had came loose on the engine intake side, since you did some work on the PCV system. Good Luck !

You're on the right path. With that many codes clear them all and see which ones actually come back and go from there.

Another update. Problem solved. When I cleaned the throttle body last week I didn't tighten the hose clamp that connects to the tube that runs to the tb all the way. I hadn't noticed when I visually inspected the engine bay. Connected that piece of tubing and it runs fine. Only code that has reappeared after an afternoon of driving is for the b2 downstream 02 sensor, which I already ordered this morning. Just goes to show that all work should be triple checked. Everything was together but not tight. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Good for you, bro! It also goes to show, that ONE thing can cause a **** load of other problems, that can throw you off, having you to fix things, that don't need to be fixed.
