Help.

As I type this - it's already getting too dark out (need better garage lighting among other things) to continue working - so I figured I would be smart and come to the experts:

I'm trying to do two things: one, is change the valve cover gasket on my 2001 A6 4.2. I've seen several tutorials on the site - but none from a 4.2 - anybody have any guidance/tricks, or is it as simple but time consuming as it seems?

Two: where in the name of @#^@ is the Bank 2 Sensor 1 - I have peered down into the firewall area, looking like crazy (Bank 1, Sensor 1 was easy - you can see it when the coolant reservoir is out of the way) - am I somehow looking in the wrong place? Or are you supposed to attack from the bottom of the car?

Any help is appreciated. As of right now, I have greased hands for nada, zip, nothing.
