Default 2001 Audi A6 2.7T

I am having a coolant issue in my 01 Audi A6 2.7T. I am losing coolant but there is no apparent leak. There have been no obvious leaks under my car and no odor of coolant. My mechanic had it for a second time yesterday and told me that it appears to be an internal leak and that there are not sure whether it is an issue with the head gasket or turbos.

has anyone else experienced this issue and have any advice.
Thanks!!!!

Do a search on "auxiliary water pump". It sits at the back of the engine above the transmission housing and is prone to slow leaks. The fluid tends to evaporate due to the heat back there, so you may not see a puddle. If the car is up on a lift, you may see white residue from the fluid on the tranny. The part is about $150. I was charged 3 hours labor to replace it at the same time I had my clutch replaced -- not sure if that was reduced hours or not.
