Default 2001 vs 2002

Hey so I was looking around and found this LLTek RS6 face lift kit that gives me a more modern audi look. Problem is its for a 2002 or newer and my A6 is a 2001. I was curious if anyone knew of any body differences between the two years that wouldn't allow me to make it fit (I'm not afraid to drill my own holes).

I've had my eye on that kit for ages now... I think the difference has to do with the headlights and the hood. I would ask the company for specific problems. If you really want to do the kit though, a good body shop could make this fit together nicely.

Yea I spose thats true. I'll definately check it out because I like the look of modern audi's but not so much the price of them.

I have an 01 and my daughter has an 02 and I know the bumper from my car will bolt right on to hers. The differences I see are the headlight washer caps on my01 sit on top of the bumper and they are flush mounted on the 02 and the foglights on the 02 are mounted differently than my 01 they sit further back into the bumper. Other than that the bumpers are very much the same. I have had both off to do the timing belts and as far as mounting goes they are identical. I dont think you would have much trouble at all making this kit work with your car.

Sounds great. I didn't think it'd take a lot of work between the two so it I might look further into it. Wonder how much work it'd take to just bolt on one from an 08 but I'm not really going to pursue that as reality because its obviously a different body style.
