Final Update. So the Radiator fan was indeed dead and the switch was being intermittant, so that was swapped too. Total came to $677. Most expensive electric fan I've ever bought. Least she is running like new now. Thanks for all your help guys! Oh, and by the way...I think I'm holding the record for longest running original K03s.

Hey,
First I like to thank everyone for this thread. There is some very good information here.
I have just bough a Audi 2002 A6 2.7t. Timing belt and water pump has been done. However when I turn the car on in the morning or after work when it is cold I have a similar problem that was talked about in the beginning of this thread. The car rotation goes very high for a couple minutes. If I try to drive out , when I step down the car seems not to accelerate and the rotation goes high. I don't know anything about cars and I would like to know what is causing this problem.
