Hey all,

Does anyone know how to remove the license plate surround? 2000 A6. I have all of the covers out. I found what looked like 4 nuts on the inside. 2 regular and 2 elongated. The elongated nuts will not unscrew. Those great little (worthless) license plate clips wanted to fall back into the housing and make a rattling sound!

Finally got the loose plate nuts out. Although still could not unscrew the 2 long nuts to remove the entire surround. Now looking at new wheels. Want to replace the 16s with 18s. Being an ex-BMW freak and not comparing anything to my 2002 triple black 911 I am in need of info on offsets and hub sizes for my 2000 A6 quattro. Any help on what the offsets are and the hub size?
