I have a 2002 2.7t Tiptronic and from a dead stop in D after starting the car (cold or warm) it feels like I'm starting off in 4th, except I get a high rev like a slipping clutch. But, I stop, turn the car off, restart and it is corrected - never fails. It's kind of like a reboot.

I was wondering if a software flash might help this? I haven't seen where anyone else mentions the restart - at least not for this problem.
