Default 2002 A6 2.7 quattro crankshaft position sensor how to replace

Ok guys, so I am trying to replace the cps which I have located driver side engine block by the axle.
However, I can't see where the cable is going. I can't see where the other end connects.
so the one that goes in the engine has a 10 bolt. the other end is an electronic connection. (a plug with 3 teeth).
Sorry for my language but I am not familiar with the terms in English.

How do I replace it????

Pleaseeeee Heeeeelp!

Sounds like you found the CPS & single 10mm bolt. There should be a black wire mounted to it & that wire snakes upward on the back side of the block & over to the driverside firewall. There are several connectors mounted on a black plastic holder on the DS firewall. One of them is the CPS connector.

Looks to be behind the Expansion/Coolant Tank. Judging from the diagram, it should be the connector on the right (match with the new part if not sure).
