Default 2002 A6 A/C issue

Car was blowing warm air. Took it into shop to have refrigerant recharged. Dye was added to trace for leaks in system. Anyone else have this happen? Seems odd to have happen on a vehicle with 31,000 miles. Seems fine now, shop to check on 5/22 for leaks in system.

The a/c is a sealed system, the metal is not pores. If the refrigerant pressure is low or non-existant there is a leak or failure of one of the components.

Seen this quite a few times. Im not sure exactly what the problem is but i think its a temperature dependant leak. It must leak out when its cold and parts tolerances change. Then when it gets hot you have no ac. But at that time there is no leak found.
