Default 2002 A6 w/ half of the electrical working

Hi-

I wanted to know if anyone w/ an A6 might've had the same problem I'm having now with my car? I left from work yesterday only to find out that my power windows won't roll down, the sunroof won't open, the memory seats won't adjust, the interior lighting won't come on and the alarm won't set. I undid the battery cables and reconnected them. That didn't work. I've checked one or two of the fuses and they seem ok. I'm going to check the others today. I can't understand what the problem is. Other than that, the car drives, runs great. HELP.

I have a 1998 Audi A6 2.8L Quattro wagon, which had a bad ignition switch. However, the newer Audis have an immobilizer, so before you start working on your car go to www.ross-tech.com and search for "immobilizer".

Hey a6hcw-

thanks for the tip. I was able to find the problem after all. It turned out to be a fuse that was hiding behind a portion of the dash board that I couldn't see. Now everything works properly again.
