Light came on today. bought car 8 days ago at an audi used car dealer. 64K on it and runs and sounds fine. no issues with oil temp. gas is mid level. any feed back??

 

What light? If check engine light, the only way to tell what's going on is to have a VAG COM pull the codes from the engine to give you real diagnostic info. Either search on "VAG COM Locator" to find one near you or check out Autozone -- they have then and will pull the codes for free.

If you bought it 8 days ago - check your State regulations, probably you still have 30 or 60days warranty. Go back to the dealer and let him to deal with all issues and doit quick.
