I currently have my 2002 Audi A6 2.7 engine out of the car for replacing transmission. My turbos were working fine. My question is now that I have my engine out and can see the turbos is there anything visually that will tell me that my turbos are bad?

From that back where you can see the turbine it was nice and dry no oil. On the other side where it comes out to the hose it had some oil.

Any advice would be good.
