Can someone tell me how to remove the center cosole cup holder? not sure how you do it. thank you!

If you examine the picture, you can see the stepped part at the front of the holder. There are 2 clips on either side that grab the cup holder. Push the lid down until you can see the inside, and push both clips and lift the holder out.

Weird.. my car didn't have that contraption. :-\
