Hi, I just purchased a 2000 A6 quattro and need to replace the center console cup holder. I have read post saying it just pops out, and others that say you have to take out the console and remove it from under. Mine does not seem to want to just pop out, any insight anyone might have on this would be appreciated.

 

Pull hard. I broke mine a few weeks ago so let me know if you come across a good source for one. I need to order a new one.

Also, another post said there was a less expensive coin holder that fits that space, if your interested in that?

 

Yah I saw the one on ebay as well, but I have a personal vendetta against that Hong Kong seller from years past and won't buy anything they sell. (long story about 80.00 mirrors they sent me for the wrong car).

A coin holder would be interesting though.
