So after some research and thinking, and more research and thinking, I think I want to replace my 3.2 (hozed by timing chain issue) with some flavor of 4.2.

From what I can tell, if I go with the 4.2 engine offered in the 2006 A6 Quattro (sedan) the ancillary impact seems to be minimal.

Are there any particular resources anyone knows of to help identify what other things I'd need to change? I do have Bentley (online and DVD versions), and have downloaded most everything they have, but am always in the market for more info.

Once I make the decision, I will blow up a thread with every step of the way.
