2016 A6 Cabin Air Filter
I've read several posts for replacing the cabin air filter on the A6, however they all seem to be for 2008 - 2011 years. I thought I saw somewhere that the cabin air filter is accessed from the engine compartment, not under the dash. Does anyone have info, pictures or video to show cabin air filter replacement for my 2016 A6?
Other issue is I have AudiCare and I did not see a cabin air filter replacement on my 15,000 mile service. I see it calls for replacement in the literature.

I am not specifically familiar with the 2016, however if it subscribes to the C7 generation (2012-) placement, it would be under/behind the passenger side glove box. Check out
In terms of the service interval, according to the Canadian maintenance schedule for the 2016 A6, the dust/pollen/cabin filter is changed at 25,000 km (15,000 mi) and every 30,000 km (18,000 mi) thereafter, or every two-years, whatever comes first. They also suggest potentially sooner if you drive in an area with higher than average dust, pollen, etc..
